MILAN — A landslide triggered by a storm on the southern Italian island of Ischia has killed a minimum of eight individuals, Italian Vice Premier Matteo Salvini mentioned Saturday.
The information company ANSA reported that a minimum of 10 buildings had collapsed and extra persons are lacking, together with a minimum of three kids.
At the least 100 individuals have been stranded in remoted elements of the island, and the mayor urged individuals to remain at residence.
Firefighters have been engaged on rescue efforts. Reinforcements have been being despatched from close by Naples, however have been encountering difficulties in reaching the island both by motorboat or helicopter as a result of climate.
