Off-duty NYPD cop discovered useless in his Lengthy Island house

An off-duty NYPD officer was discovered useless in his Lengthy Island house, police sources stated.

The 44-year-old officer, who had 16 years on the job, was found by his spouse of their Suffolk County residence, the sources stated.

Preliminary indications are that the officer’s loss of life was “unintentional,” and neither suicide nor murder is suspected, the sources stated.

The officer was presently assigned to the Higher West Facet in Manhattan.
