Toronto police say they’ve recognized a suspect in a number of purse snatchings in North York.
Valter Pereira Cabral, 29, (pictured under) of Toronto is needed on a number of fees together with theft, assault with a weapon and legal harassment.
Police say Cabral snatched the purses within the Bathurst Avenue and Sheppard Avenue West space on December 29, 2022.
After the alleged robberies, police say he fled in a black Volkswagen with a stolen Nova Scotia license plate JMA 239.
The suspect has distinct tattoos on his arms, which spell the phrases “Play” and “Acquire.”
