Taxpayer {dollars} ‘going to be handed over to corporations’ over coal worth cap

Adoni Media’s Leisa Goddard says “taxpayer {dollars} are actually going to be handed over to corporations like Rio Tinto”.

It comes after mining large Rio Tinto is about to obtain a compensation package deal for the momentary coal worth cap put in place to decrease vitality costs.

“Had the federal government not meddled, they might have fairly fortunately continued alongside making their income, placing the coal that we’d like into the system, and protecting our lights on,” she instructed Sky Information host Rita Panahi.

“We’re not taking a look at what is going on … in Germany, and what’s occurring within the UK, and throughout different components of Europe.”
