Former herdsman Sibusiso Sizatu to guide SA in crusing Cape2Rio race

Sibusiso hails from Qumbu, close to Mthatha. He spent his early years herding his household’s livestock till, on the age of 10, he and his household moved to Masimuphelele in Cape City. He was first launched to crusing by an NGO in Simonstown, however it didn’t curiosity him a lot on the time. It was solely two years later when he was bored with his crusing mates at all times leaving him behind once they travelled to compete, that he took up the game severely.

Now he’s gearing as much as lead workforce South Africa within the iconic Cape2Rio yacht race.

The yacht named ArchAngel is to set sail for Rio de Janeiro on 2 January and might be manned by 5 different crew members.  4 males and one lady. ‘The primary purpose is to complete the race,’ he stated. ‘Profitable it will likely be some further bonus.’
