Racism reared its ugly head in a highschool classroom when a math instructor known as a Black pupil the N-word—and that’s not even the entire story.
First-year Illinois schoolteacher, John Donovan, was caught on digital camera by college students in his class at Kankakee Excessive Faculty when he referred to a pupil as a “Fu***** N*****.” CNN reported that the white instructor was terminated on Monday by the Kankakee Faculty Board.

The incident reportedly occurred on Oct. 20 and was the second run-in between the Black pupil and the instructor. In response to CNN and a second video, the instructor allegedly threw a ebook on the pupil in September. Michael reportedly notified the varsity’s administration a number of instances, and his mom was informed that the instructor would apologize for throwing the ebook.
